These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Resumie website and its tools, including the Portfolio Prompt Generator ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Resumie provides free and paid tools that help you prepare for your job search. The Portfolio Prompt Generator takes the details you enter and assembles them into a text prompt that you can paste into third-party AI tools to build a portfolio website. The Service produces a prompt. It does not build, host, or publish a website for you.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Email and newsletter requirement

To use the Portfolio Prompt Generator, you must provide a valid email address and agree to receive our newsletter and marketing emails. By continuing, you consent to receive these messages. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your email.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Enter another person's personal information without their permission.
Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Service.
Copy or resell the Service or its underlying prompt template as your own product.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you enter and of any portfolio you build using your generated prompt. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for how you use the results. The details you type into the generator are processed in your browser to build your prompt.

6. Intellectual property

The website, its design, and the prompt template are owned by Resumie. You may use the prompts you generate for your own portfolio and job search. You may not claim the template or the Service as your own or redistribute it commercially.

7. AI outputs and no guarantee of results

The Service and any output from third-party AI tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AI tools can produce inaccurate or incomplete results. We do not guarantee that a generated prompt or website will be error free, nor do we guarantee any particular outcome such as job offers, clients, or income. Always review and edit anything an AI tool produces before you use it.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including EmailJS for email delivery and external AI builders such as Claude, ChatGPT, Lovable, Framer, and Wix. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Resumie is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of income, or reliance on AI-generated content. The Service is provided free of charge for this tool.

10. Termination

We may suspend or stop offering the Service, or restrict access, at any time and without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be handled by the appropriate courts of the Philippines.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
